A Message From Pastor Rod
We welcome each of you to our time of fellowship around God’s Word and invite you to enjoy this wonderful season of the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas. I an especially looking forward to our message for today as it deals with a very gift that the Holy Spirit brings to the body. As we discovered that God by way of the Spirit has given a full array of supernatural gifts to profit withal. With the receiving of each of these endowments of powers also came the potential for misuse or even counterfeit. How do we know the real from the false. I John 4:1-3 reminds us we can not believe every spirit that manifests itself, whether it is of God or not. God through the Spirit gives the body special individuals that have been gifted with the ability to see behind the manifestation to know and reveal what spirit is at work. What a protection and assurance that all these operations are to be trusted. Let us consider the gift of the Discerning of Spirits. Blessings to all
