A Message From Pastor Rod

I would like to welcome you once more to our Bible series in the Book of Romans. We have been following the reasoning of the apostle Paul as to why all mankind stands before their creator without excuse. It maybe that we are there this morning because we rejected God’s manifest revelation of himself in creation becoming fools darkened in our thinking. Or maybe it is because we realized there is an awesome God and developed a conscience. We could see the right and Wong of choices. Yet having this moral compass we chose to judge others and continued to break our own values. Or maybe we are like the Jewish nation having been taught and having received God’s law, we still continue in our sinful ways. So now we are all under God’s wrath. Yet this is not where God would leave us. Instead he would have grace abound in our behalf. So we see why God chose Israel and entrusted that nation with his Word. Paul ask what advantage does the Jew have. The answer much in many ways it is the first advantage we will look at now. Paul reminds us to the Jew was given all the oracles of God.
