Greetings and welcome to you. Thank you for being part of our study in Romans. Today we will be in the twelfth chapter of the book, where Paul challenges the believers of his day to make a decision of their will to serve their Lord in a deeper way. The Church in Rome is largely made up of gentiles, but the apostle covers the conditions of both the Jewish and Gentile member. From the denial of mankind of God’s creation and sovereignty to man’s foolish choice to worship idols we are brought to the knowledge that all of humanity is without excuse and are worthy of judgment. Yet even in their fallen state God’s love reached out. For God sent his love and grace to this world through Jesus his Son. Paul then challenges his readers in the light of all these things, how can we then most practically worship Him. The answer we find today is the Living Sacrifice.
